SPECIFIC PARALEGAL SKILLS - PERSONAL INJURY/MEDICAL MALPRACTICE:
Most of my 25+ years have been spent in the areas of personal injury and medical malpractice. I can handle your personal injury cases,
including automobile accidents, slip and falls and
any other type of liability case:

- Initial meeting with the client (client intake)
- Obtaining a police or incident report
- Procuring insurance information
- Locating and meeting with witnesses and taking witness statements (see
Investigation Services)
- Obtaining and summarizing medical records
- Follow up and communicate with client from case initiation, through medical treatment, until finalized
by treating physician(s)
- Preparation of professional demand package
Following attorney/insurance negotiations, and failure to reach an amicable settlement, I can begin the litigation process:
- Identifying and locating all potential defendants (corporate or individuals)
- File suit with initial discovery; i.e., interrogatories, request
for production and request for admissions
- Drafting pleadings and discovery as necessary throughout the pendency of the lawsuit; i.e., motions to compel, motions for protective order, other motions and pleadings as
needed, requests for IME reports and scheduling depositions.
- Summarize depositions and provide concise reports
- Recommend further action based upon file review; If working from home, I can meet with the attorney and staff as necessary for case updates
- Schedule mediation and draft a mediation summary
- Notice your case for trial if necessary.
- Prepare your pretrial stipulation, witness and exhibit lists, trial subpoenas, jury instructions and verdict forms
